This record is a collaboration between Chris Markowski and Bobby Shock, and featuring harmony vocals by Sierra Downs. "Solid Gold,""Unfold,""The Preacher," and "The Sad Parts" were recorded in Burlington, Vermont at Chris' house back in October 2018, while "Igloo Window" and "Japanese Horse" were tracked in New Jersey at Bobby's place earlier in 2018. Golden Moments as a whole is a mixture of folk bliss and prog wonder, marking the third collaboration album between Markowski and Shock, beginning with Stories (2017) and Markowski (2018).
